Oh, Norton, what a miserable failure you are in terms of customer service!īTW the Norton phone contact page you gave, above: doesn't actually include a phone number. When I tried it the phone company announced that the number was discontinued. The agent also supplied a 'special' phone number supposedly available only to deluxe accounts. A week ago I was contacted by Norton to say my account was being upgraded to 'deluxe'. After 15 minutes of trying to describe a rather simple issue, I was forced to give up in frustration. When I did finally reach support the person's accent was so thick I was unable to understand him, or him, me. It promised local phone numbers but the link did not work-a universal occurence with Norton. I first tried 'Chat with an Agent' (Re SoulAsylum's suggestion) I don't know how many times, only to fall into a black hole of 'describe your issue'/save/describe your issue/save' ad infinitum. I did finally manage to contact tech support by phone (I'm in Australia, by the way) but only after penetrating several layers of defenses designed to prevent this action.
